ABOUT US
About the Studio
PréDesign is an architecture and design studio with offices in Coimbatore and Madurai, driven by a global perspective and a deep understanding of context.
We see architecture as more than buildings—it is about shaping experiences, emotions, and meaningful ways of living. Blending contemporary design thinking with local knowledge and cultural sensitivity, we create spaces that are refined, functional, innovative, and rooted in place.
“We don’t follow a fixed design style. Instead, we let the site, story, emotion, experience, and purpose shape the design.”
— PréDesign
Methodology
Our Approach
A structured five-phase architectural process ensuring design clarity, spatial rigor, and execution quality.
Understand
Every project begins with listening. We study the site, context, aspirations, and way of life to uncover the opportunities that make each project unique.
Explore
We translate insights into ideas through design exploration. Form, material, light, technology, and context come together to create spaces that are both expressive and purposeful.
Design
We carefully develop every decision from spatial planning and materiality to performance and sustainability to ensure design intent remains uncompromised.
Deliver
We carry the vision from drawing to reality with close coordination, attention to detail, and rigorous quality control throughout the execution process.
Collaborate
Architecture is inherently collaborative. Our integrated approach brings together architecture, interiors, landscape, BIM, consultants, and execution teams to create a seamless and cohesive outcome.
Leadership
The practice is led by two principal architects overseeing architectural design, interiors, and project making.
Ar. Predeesh Thangaraj
Principal Architect, Founder
Leads the studio’s design direction. Trained in India and Paris, he shapes houses and interiors that are contemporary, grounded, and built to last.
Ar. Surya Logesh S
Principal Architect, Co-Founder
Works across planning, interiors, and the making of the building. His focus is clear, liveable rooms — useful in plan, quiet in finish.
